The FCSC Recruitment Application form2024-2025 is now available.  The Federal Civil Service Commission has opened the registration portal login for the FCSC current recruitment 2024. You will find on this page all the required information about the Federal Civil Service Commission recruitment update and how to apply for the FCSC jobs.

The Federal Civil Service Commission of Nigeria (FCSC) is an executive body in Nigeria that has the authority to make appointments and transfers and to exercise disciplinary control over all Federal Civil Servants.

No officer can be appointed into the Civil Service without authorization from the Federal Federal Civil Service Commission if they have been convicted of a crime, or had previously been employed in the Government Service and had been dismissed or asked to resign or retire.

Without authorization from the Federal Civil Service Commission, any officer can not be appointed to the Civil Services if he has been convicted of the crime, or was earlier employed in government service and was asked to resign or retire Was there.

The Application form for Conversion to Education Cadre in the Federal Civil Service 2024 is currently ongoing, eligible and qualified candidates should kindly through the application processes below.

In an effort to strengthen the teaching profession for improved service delivery, the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation is inviting interested officers within the mainstream federal service, who desire to laterally convert to education officer cadre, to apply.

FCSC Recruitment Requirements

To be eligible to participate in the initiative, interested officers must:

(a) be confirmed and be within Salary Grade Level 08 and 13;
(b) have a minimum of a Bachelor Degree with a (2nd Class Lower Division) or HND (Minimum of Upper Credit) in any of the following subjects:

i. Physics ii. Mathematics ill. Chemistry iv. Biology v. Agricultural Science vi. Physical and Health Education vii. Computer Science viii. Integrated Science ix. Technical Drawing x. Building Tech – Block laying (bricklaying and concreting) xi. Electrical xii. Electronics xiii. Plumbing. xiv. Fabrication/welding xv, Painting and decoration xvi. Carpentry and joinery xvii. Furniture making xviii. Refrigeration and Air conditioning xix. Catering craft xx. Computer trades/studies xxi. Textiles and Garment making xxii. Auto mechanic xxiii. Vehicle bodybuilding xxiv. Printing xxv, Foundry

(c) be computer literate and prepared to undergo training that will qualify them to be registered with the Teacher Regulation Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

(d) be willing to be posted to Federal Unity Colleges to teach.

(e) have up to 10 years remaining in the service.

Eligible officers who wish to take advantage of this opportunity are to download the online template from the website of the OHCSF: www.ohcsf.gov.ng.

The hard copy of the completed template must be submitted with, an application through their Permanent Secretaries, to the undersigned.

The soft copy of the same template must also be submitted online on the website.

Salaries

Before going deep into the salary structure, It is worth mentioning, that minimal wages on the federal civil service position are N18,000. You can find a full list of wages depending on the level of knowledge below.

Least paid staff: The least paid staff on Grade Level 01 Step 01 will receive N18,900 per month that sums to an annual salary of N226,800. A little higher than the minimum wage at the FCSC.

School leaver: The school graduate who is currently on Grade Level 04 and Step 1 will earn a little more than the least staff – N242,994 per year.

Officers: Having Grade Level 06 Step 01, the officer at the FCSC will receive an annual salary of N316, 229. After attaining Step 15 on the same Grade Level, he will receive N487,295.

Diploma certificate holder: The diploma certificate holder on Grade Level 07 Step 01 will receive N43,163 per month at the Nigerian Federal Civil Service Commission. It sums up to an annual salary of N517,965

Officers’ counterparts: On Grade Level 09 Step 01 they will receive N780,656 per year. After attaining Step 15, they will get N1,152,698. Just compare that to the Officer’s salary!

Graduate: Graduate on Level 08 Step 15 is between the Officers’ Level 09 Step 01 and Level 09 Step 15. They will receive N81,000 monthly working at the Federal Civil Service Commission. This sums up to a salary of N978,663 yearly.

Director of the Federal Civil Service: No doubt, the director is the most paid position at the FCSC. On Grade Level 17 Step 9 he will get a monthly salary of N454,344 (more than the school leaver will receive per year!). It amounts to an annual salary of N5,452,136. Shocking, isn’t it?
