Decree modifying the Academic Calendar for the 2021-2024 School Year in Cameroon. A decree signed by the Cameroonian Minister of Basic Education Pauline Nalova Lyonga Egbe and the Minister of Secondary Education indicates that some changes have been made to the calendar for the 2021-2024 school year.
This decree makes changes by supplementing certain provisions of joint decree n°078/b1/1464/ MINEDUB /MINESEC of August 25, 2021, setting the calendar for the 2021/2024 school year in the Republic of Cameroon.
And according to this new Decree modifying the Academic Calendar for the 2021-2024 School Year in Cameroon, the new dates for the school holidays are as follows;
- from Friday, April 8, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. to Monday, April 25, 2024, at 7:30 a.m. for schools and establishments under the Ministry of Basic Education;
- from Friday, April 15, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. to Monday, April 25, 2024, at 7:30 a.m. for schools and establishments under the Ministry of Secondary Education.
On the other hand, the holidays for internal students end / the day before the start of the school year, before 6:00 p.m. And by derogation 4 article 29 above, students who do not take official exams will be put on leave on Friday, June 17, 2024, 4 12 p.m. A PDF attachment of the Decree in full can be downloaded from the link below.
